The Super Total 2018 is a chance to find your one rep max and test all five major lifts in a super friendly and competitive environment! ALL EXPERIENCE LEVELS ARE WELCOME AND ENCOURAGED TO PARTICIPATE!

Saturday, January 20th

Max Snatch and Max Clean and Jerk

Weigh-in 9:30 am

Warmups start at 10:00am

First lift 11:00am

Sunday January 21st

Max Back Squat, Max Bench Press, Max Deadlift

Weigh-in 9:30am

Warmups start 10:00am

First lift 11:00am

Prizes

Prizes will be awarded to the top male and female competitor as determined by the Sinclair coefficient for Saturday and the Wilkes coefficient for Sunday. An overall top male and female will be determined with a combined Sinclair and Wilkes score from both days.

Step 1. Purchase a 2018 Total Lift Shirt Here by 12/22 to register.

Step 2. Ask questions

Step 3. Practice lifts at Olympic Lifting Class on Sundays from 8-9 am or 9-10am (Every membership level includes Olympic Lifting class!).

Step 4. Push Yourself. Be Awesome!

The rules:

  • Each athlete will weigh-in each day prior to beginning the competition (we will keep this information private).
  • Each athlete will have 3 chances at each lift and the weight for each must be declared prior to each attempt.
  • Lift quality (i.e. PROPER FORM) must be maintained in order for the lift to count – and for your SAFETY! Expectations for each lift will be provided.
  • Singlets are encouraged (always are) but not required; athletes should choose clothing that fits closely to their body.
  • A “down” signal will be given by the judge of the lift; the lift will not count if the athlete does not wait for the down signal to complete the lift. (This will all be explained and detailed each morning of the event.)
  • In order to qualify for the grand prize, at least one successful lift in each of the five categories over the two days must be recorded.
  • No gloves allowed.
